five photography exhibitions will be taking place in new york city at the museum of modern art throughout 2022 and 2023. The goal of this poster design is to combine the titles and descriptions of five sections, an odd number, into a coherent design that alludes to photography in a visually creative way.

the radial layout of the poster alludes to the camera lens.
After experiencing several distinct layouts, a radial composition became the most successful as it alludes to the camera lens. As the sub-headers contained many dates, they became a suggestion of the focal lens dial marker that one can find on a real camera. Since there are five titles, an odd number that is challenging to work with, this arrangement was ideal for the balance of visual weight between any halves of the poster. The diagonal center texts added motion that implies the turning of the lens as well.
